Dora and the Lost Metropolis of Gold is a 2019 American adventure comedy film directed by James Bobin. The group travels through numerous obstacles, including quicksand, Inca ruin puzzles, hallucination-inducing spores that turned them into animated characters in the manner of the original cartoon, and attacks from woods guards of Parapata. During the journeying, Sammy warms up to Dora and becomes nicer to everyone. Dora and Diego eventually reconcile and Dora notices Diego has a crush on Sammy.
